I just downloaded this album, and I’m in love with it. This kitten is super talented and I love her deep voice, it’s enchanting. Haunting, like precipitation bursting from a full storm clouds silver seams. I’m a bit late to the Del Ray love fest…I resist most change, especially musically. I listen to mostly oldies, classic rock and big band stations, so unless I hear a song in someone elses car or it’s a big deal on the Twitter or FB, I’m unlikely to go out of my way to listen to it. Anyway, case in point, I saw a friend post a Lana Del Ray song on FB, I immediately recognised her as the bird who’s banging Axl Rose. (I would have been ridiculously jealous of this during the 90′s, but now it’s just sounds a bit gross, a bit like that Manson/Wood  unpleasantness.) I was chuffed to find she not only has a mad set of pipes, but this beautiful highly stylized creepy vibe happening which I instantly adored.

While I’m feeling highly suggestive, wanna recommend a good album?
